Abstract << André Rottgeri entwirft, am Beispiel der Biographie eines populären E-Gitarristen, eine Typologie der Artikulationen: „Populäre Musik & Artikulationen: Entwurf einer Typologie am Beispiel von Joe Satriani“. >>

[“André Rottgeri, using the biography of a popular electric guitarist as an example, develops a typology of articulations: “Popular Music & Articulations: Designing a Typology Using Joe Satriani as an Example.” This typology distinguishes between creative output (primary articulations in the form of music, lyrics, and visuals) and the artists' own commentary (secondary articulations, e.g., in the form of interviews). Other articulations are grouped under the terms pedagogical, economic, and technical. This classification is then tested using an interview analysis of Joe Satriani from the Living Legends Music series.”]
